WE for a Gender Equal and Inclusive Society

 

Women's Month also reminds us of the leadership role that women have played to attain equality and construct societies.  The theme for this year is "WE for Gender Equality and an Inclusive Society" and ushers in a call to unite and construct a society where there are equal rights and opportunities for all citizens. In order to construct gender equality and an inclusive society, it is a call to unite for collective responsibility.

An equal society gives every single one, male or female, a forum to fulfill their potential and values diversity of thought.  We open the door to a perfected and egalitarian future by busting myths, barriers, and defending women's rights.  In my world, there's no bias and everyone can chase their dreams.  A future of inclusiveness, equality, respect, and encouragement.

Women's Month serves as a call to remember that creating an inclusive society and becoming gender equal requires cooperation.  It is a process that has to shatter barriers, question customs, and inspire one another.  We can all maximize our potential on this earth whether male or female if we practice inclusivity and pursue equal opportunity.  Let us do it together and work towards this dream of a fair and equal society where all individuals are valued, loved, and empowered.
