FIRST QUARTER REFLECTION

I gained some of the best knowledge about creating and managing websites during the first quarter of ICT, from selecting engaging subjects to creating user-friendly layouts. I also gained knowledge about the background and significance of the internet for entertainment, education, and communication. Probably the most significant was learning how to recognize citations, which gives my work credibility and prevents plagiarism.

For me, the technical abilities required for web development have been the most difficult and demanding, particularly in the areas of coding and data administration. While trying to create my website, I also found it to be a little difficult to make sure that utility and aesthetics are balanced in order to accommodate each other. Since different contents may utilize various styles, learning two different citation styles has also proven challenging.

I utilized internet tutorials to expand my knowledge and divided difficult subjects into digestible chunks in order to solve these problems. I experimented with a lot of different design combinations for the website design before deciding on a style that I liked. I practiced using the available resources and spoke with my teacher to obtain the right answers when it came to citation.

In order to make my website more dynamic, I intend to incorporate multimedia elements in the future. I intend to continue refining my layout in order to make it more readable. Finally, but just as importantly, I want to learn more about data flow on the internet in order to get additional expertise in web page development.
